Mental Radio began experimenting with mashups in 2010. Using several cross-platform digital music production software, the digital pyrotehnician enjoys mashing music and djing in his spare time. Initially being inspired by Super Mash Bros, Mental Radio developed his own style from a variety of influences.
In the spring of 2011, he started releasing a small collection of songs to showcase his progression. Shortly after, Mental Radio put together a summer album, "The Good Life," where his music gained more popularity. Listeners were able to download a new track every week of summer. Several songs instantly become favorites of many music entertainment websites.
Music is always changing and so is Mental Radio. Blending songs and artists that wouldn’t typically be expected adds to his unique sound. He produces tracks that fit any occasion from study sessions to all night raging. Music has no beginning or an end therefore Mental Radio has no beginning or an end. In order to keep up with the music scene, he gears his music towards the listeners in order to grasp their interest.
The stage name Mental Radio refers to all the music that gets stuck in our heads. You don’t need speakers if you have a song in your head, the beat will go on and as long as you are listening, the Mental Radio is always playing. Mental Radio started sending me tracks a while ago and was one of the first artist who sent me tracks on a regular basis. Then he asked me about a sponsor and this was before NiceBeatsDaily had sponsored any artist, but I really liked his mash-ups and I thought it was a good idea. Today, his mash-up, "Patiently Waiting For The Best Day Ever", is one of my favorite mash-ups. Check out his tracks below and click the title to download the song.
